A painful lesson

Remember the joy and excitement I had over finally getting my camera?! You know, this camera:

Well, now I know. No matter how much you don't want a larger carry-on bag that can hold the camera inside its cushioned case...

...you should suck it up and find a larger carry-on.

I'm sorry Alicia. I just travelled to Nashville and I wasn't impressed with how the luggage was "handled". Did they stow it underneath the plane or was it overhead? I didn't check any baggage because of the extra cost but they still took everybody's small wheeled bags and stowed them underneath. Then you have to stand on the tarmac while they casually saunter around and get your stuff and all the while you are sweating and hoping to catch your connecting flight at the OTHER END of the O'Hare airport! Not fun! I'm sorry about your poor camera. I would cry.

Oh, Alicia! I am so sorry. It actually looks like my last cell phone that was run over by a car...still worked and I used packing tape to keep the glass in...what a dork, I know.

If you left it here with me, you wouldn't had that problem. I would've taken real good care of it for you. hehe! I am sorry that happened. Nothing is more precious tho than those pictures you took with it. This will be fixed one day. *smile*

But on a brighter note, I love your label on this one: "more evidence that I'm not perfect." ... You are precious.

Looks like you had an amazing time with Bina!
